Eligibility:
To apply for the Pearson International Scholarship, you must:
- Be an international student (requiring a study permit and non-Canadian)
- Currently be in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2023
- Commence your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2024 (applicants already enrolled in post-secondary studies cannot be considered, and those starting studies in January 2024 at another post-secondary institution are also ineligible)
Application Instructions:
Applications will open in September 2023. To become a Pearson Scholar, you must be nominated by your school and apply for undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. Here’s how:
- Obtain a nomination from your school. (High schools that have not yet been contacted/verified should submit an application for nomination rights available here.)
- Apply to study at the University of Toronto for the academic year 2024 and complete your admission application by the specified deadlines.
- Once the University receives your nomination and you’ve applied, you can complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application.
Please note the following deadlines: the school nomination deadline is November 30, 2023; the student admissions deadline is December 15, 2023 (applicants are encouraged to apply before November 7, 2023); and the scholarship application deadline is January 15, 2024.
